PROPERTIES 'OF PLANTS CONTAINED
The first group of plants works sull'assetto lipid and glycemic blood according to the various phytocomplexes and the resulting properties. Glucomannan is a resin that is extracted from the root of Konjac; resulting polysaccharide that can absorb more than 100 times its volume in water to form a gel in the stomach neutral vegetable. This capability is of interest to control the feeling of hunger, in slowing the absorption of carbohydrates and lipids, bile salts and to lower the cholesterol level in the blood. It 'a fiber useful in low-calorie diets, improves the metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids. The bean pod is rich in faseolamina, this molecule inhibits the activity of enteric -amylase, the enzyme responsible for the hydrolysis of starch to glucose. The shell of the bean, it is recommended for its ability to stimulate the urinary function and as a valuable adjuvant in slimming diets and low-calorie diets, especially when the diet is based on starchy foods and carbohydrates (pasta, rice, bread, legumes, and potatoes). The Migliarino or also called tea Fontainebleau (obtained from the leaves and flowers) takes its name from the botanical seed "spermum" which is like a small ball of white porcelain. Litos in greek means "stone", so the name of this plant means seed-shaped stone.
The second group of plants promotes the production of bile which acts as a solvent of fat over that from vector of cholesterol and toxins dump them in the intestinal lumen. The Dandelion belongs to the Asteraceae. Responsible for the activity are sesquiterpene lactones, triterpenes, sterols and inulin. The activity of the drug is two-fold and is developed as well as in the liver also in the kidney where it acts as a mild diuretic. In the liver, where it carries out its preponderant, acts at the level of the membranes of hepatocytes stabilizzandole protective effects and repairers. The artichoke belongs to the Asteraceae, ancestrally seems to have common ancestors with Milk Thistle. Its activities are carried out for the presence in its extract and flavonoid derivatives caffeic. Among the derivatives of caffeic acid is representative chlorogenic acid. Nor can one forget the cinaropicrina. The action is basically type of liver purifying. There are two distinct mechanisms of action: increase in the synthesis of bile acids and reduction of the synthesis of endogenous cholesterol. The activity choleretic (promotes and stimulates the production of bile) and cholagogue (promotes the flow of bile from the liver to) is a stimulant of the artichoke liver function unparalleled. Finally, the black radish has again a mixed farming: hepatobiliary and diuretic. Are characteristic of this root of sulfur compounds glucosinolates of which the most important is the glucobrassicin. The activity, as stated, takes place both in the kidney, where it promotes the elimination of urate, both in the liver where it stimulates the secretion of bile. Traditionally used for property aperitif, diuretic, antiseptic and antitussive.
The last group of plants has an adjuvant properties acquaretiche, which are able to promote the elimination of liquids thanks to an increased inflow of blood to the kidneys; Birch, Nettle, Orthosiphon, Lespedezia, Horsetail, Corn and Pilosella. All of these are characterized by the presence of flavonoids and especially of iperoside that exerts diuretic properties. The Birch plays a diuretic and detoxifying action, defined as "plant renal European" as well as having diuretic activity, thanks to the presence of umbelliferone also possesses a certain antibacterial action. The Nettle is a plant ruderale diffusion cosmopolitan, covered with stinging hairs rich in histamine. Its name derives from the Latin urere (burning). The plant was already known to Galen who considered a remedy for bronchial catarrh and ulcers of the skin. Among other things, the Nettle is also known as an edible plant. The data on the phytochemical nettle are relatively scarce. They are usually used the roots that contain fenilpropani: lignans, free and glucosidati, such as the neo-olivine and its congeners, polysaccharides, lectins and phytosterols. In popular tradition is to remember the antiemetic action and hemostatic. The leaves contain flavonoids Orthosifon lyophilized, potassium salts, triterpenes and beta-sitosterol. Used for highly diuretic properties and prevention of kidney stones. The antioxidant component composed of flavonoids Lespedeza capitata seems to be the active fraction functional. It was isolated a component antioxidant which the kampferitrina, as well as other flavones were considered important for diuretic activity. The extract of this legume also seems to have effects on the lipid profile of the organism. The last three Horsetail that associates a considerable intake of mineral salts, the Corn rich in potassium salts and Pilosella also widely used as a diuretic. The properties of wheatgrass (Agropyrum repens) were known since antiquity. Dioscorides recommended it in the difficulties of urination, urinary calculi and in Pliny as a powerful diuretic. The Bermuda grass has always been known for properties of this weed and reach as negative term. In fact it is a medicinal plant useful not only to men but also to animals. The dogs swallow the leaves to get rid of the stomach, while horses and donkeys will benefit from consumption. The weed is weed with long rhizomes that emit easily erect stems rough, flowering occurs in state. The decoction of weeds plays an excellent diuretic-hypotensive, emollient, purifying the blood (a term which in the first half of the century were described different plants with diuretic and choleretic property) and it is recommended in all cases of "stress" in liver, spleen, urinary tract infections, gout, arthritis, and in eczema. E 'indicated for osteoarthritis, arthritis, hyperuricemia; draining hepato-biliary and renal function in detoxifying treatments; adjuvant in hypertension and inflammation in the urinary tract; indicated in cases of edema, cardiac or renal impairment. Finally, the last plant was chosen for its adjuvant action expectorant properties and detoxifying. The aerial parts of Viola tricolor of thought or are the drug of this annual herbaceous plant. It grows in maritime areas and mountainous and the color of the flowers changes from a yellow to purple to white and purple varieties of favors. It is harvested in bloom from April to July-August and dried in a ventilated area. It contains mucilage, salicylic derivatives, flavonoids and saponosides. In medicine it is used for property diaphoretic, diuretic and mildly laxative. Known for its soothing and anti-aging used against skin diseases. The saponosides, taken orally with the infusion, cause mild irritation of the gastric mucosa and therefore reflected the fluidity of bronchial mucus.
It is a dietary supplement that is not meant in any way to replace the drug. The product is not intended as a substitute for a varied diet. Given the content of bitter herbs are not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation.
